Packaging Design — Fall 2023
The Challenge
Since this studio course is taught at l’Accademia Italiana, all of the packaging examples we looked at were printed in Italian. Knowing minimal Italian, I struggled to understand the content of the packaging and how it was being presented to its consumer market. Other parameters included: using all the original text, dimensions, material, and not straying too far from the original brand language.

Interaction Design Group Exercise
The Challenge
Working with a group to complete a prototype proved to be difficult when creating actions between our various screens since a wrong click from a teammate could quickly alter any animation. Luckily, we all agreed on which concept we were excited to prototype, but still brought our own perspectives as to how it would work in practice. The idea was that a user would enter their particular mood at that moment, and then the app would curate playlists across various genres based on that mood. Mood Mix is one of my favorite projects I’ve worked on, and it felt even more rewarding when we presented our successful product as a team.

When living in an urban setting, especially one you are unfamiliar with, it can be hard to find a place to spend recreational time outside. Vireō means “lively, a sense of growth, renewal, and vitality.” It suggests the interconnectedness of all living things. The goal of Vireō is to make it easy for users to discover ways to connect with nature despite urban living, and get recommendations from the locals in their city.

Motion Design Studio II — Spring 2023
Predictable, Silly + a just bit CheugyMacey is finally celebrating her long awaited 21st birthday with a massive party at her college house. The night of partying soon takes a dark turn when the house wakes up and realizes that Macey has disappeared. Her friends, Brooke and Lilah retrace their steps from the night before to try and figure out just what exactly happened to her, encountering all sorts of obstacles along the way. The hilarious scenes will take you back in time to your ‘good ole’ college days and have you on the edge of your seat as the girls track down their missing birthday girl.
